Emphasis on actual combat effect and strengthen emergency skills -- the 7th emergency skills competition of Chiyuen Chemical was successfully held

On the morning of May 14, 2021,more than 50 people of 7 teams, coming from workshops of Chiyuen Chemical factory 1, factory 2 and Chiyuen Food factory, gathered for the seventh emergency skills competition.
This emergency skills competition was jointly held by the safety deptd, the fire fighter dept. and the labor union. There were three items in the competition: "rescuing in restricted space", "stopping leakage with pressure wearing with heavy chemical protection suit" and " foam tank of fire truck rapidly shoot the aim with water". The projects setting design of this year is in line with the safety and emergency needs of the company. It payed attention to practicality and efficiency, and fully tested the actual rescue ability and the coordination of the team.
First, the two projects were carried out simultaneously, “rescuing in restricted space" and the “stopping leakage with pressure wearing with heavy chemical protection suit". With the referee's whistle, two players quickly ran to the emergence equipment and checked them firstly such as air breathing apparatus. After dressing up quickly ,they respectively picked up rescue equipment including ladders, resuscitator and blanket, quickly running to the injured in predicate to rescue.They lifted the injured from the tank and carried out on a stretcher. After emergency rescue with resuscitator,they carried the injured to the designated place to complete the race. The atmosphere of the competition was warm and full of passion. All the participants acted quickly, dressed skillfully, rescued sequentially. The three members from the chloroacetic acid section of the chemical factory 2 won the first place by a few seconds ahead of the second team.
Next was the stopping leakage with pressure wearing with heavy chemical protection suit. Two players wear quickly heavy chemical protection suit first, then come to the simulated scene of the leakage, and use tools to plug leakage. The pipeline with inside pressure sprouted a jet of water. The players use accurate tools to cover the leak and tight the bolt with a wrench round by round until the water column became smaller and disappeared finally. Leaking stoppage under pressure to tight a bolt needs two players act at the same time otherwise the leak could not be stopped totally. It requires perfect cooperation to success. Although some teams tightened the bolt, it still was leaking. The members from the chemical factory 2 won the first place with a large advantage relying on their perfect cooperation.
The last competition was “foam tank of fire truck rapidly shoot the aim with water”. Two team members connected the fire truck and the foam tank with three sets of hoses. After the connection,the water from the foam tank spurted to aim the given target. This project setting reflects realistic. The players from the chemical factory 2 got the first place.
Today's emergency competition became the performance stage of the second factory chloroacetic acid section. It was their harmonious cooperation and their struggling figures that become the beautiful scenery of the emergency competition. Their achievements were from their efforts in hard training of emergency skills.
